Two aluminium sleeved fibreglass rods to fix the banner into position which keep it tight and straight which in turn helps reduce wind damage,
Safety pin to locate the twister arms,
Six adjustable fixing banding to fix the bracket tightly on various post diameters,
Two rubber gaskets to protect the post and prevent the bracket from moving on the post in high winds,
Helps against wind damage from 25 mph this bracket twists in the direction of the wind which helps prevent damage to the banner and post,
Can reduce the Loading Area by up to 80%
1 pair of Twister brackets can take a banner up to 750 mm x 2 m,
Twister banner brackets consist of:
Two cast alloy brackets with stainless steel spring tension system
Two sleeved black fibreglass arms
Two large safety pins
Two pole protective rubber gaskets.Wind Spill Predictions
Lamppost Twister brackets have been manufactured to help reduce the wind loading on a lamppost caused by installing a banner, please note never instal this system back to back on a post as this doubles the loadings on the post and bandings holding the system in place.
If the banner is installed on a lamppost column that complies with the EN40 strength requirements the maximum recommended banner size is 750 mm x 1.5 m at 4 m from ground level,
The predicted load exerted to the post at the fixing points in 50 mph winds is 63.42 kg, please note the higher the banner is fixed to the post the great the load becomes at the base of the post as the load is projected over a greater distance,
When the Twister brackets are installed at 4 m the load against the post will start to reduce between 25 mph and 40 mph, at this point the brackets start to twist exhausting the wind, Calculations used for working out loadings are A = F/1/2 p C D U squared.
We always recommend you consult a structural engineer to work out the loading's exerted to the post and to calculate if the lamppost is strong enough to withstand the extra loading this system will exert onto it in high winds,
